Ursula

Ursula

From The Little Mermaid (1989)

Ursula is the sea witch of The Little Mermaid, a schemer who trades in contracts with desperate merpeople. She offers Ariel legs in exchange for her voice, with a deadline she fully intends to see broken, all as part of her plan to take King Triton's trident. Her theatrical style and the song 'Poor Unfortunate Souls' made her one of Disney's most memorable villains.

This coin stands out in the Disney Traders set for its gunmetal finish, darker than the gold coins beside it. The reverse carries a red Disney Villains wordmark. Collectors should note a different Ursula design is also sold at Once Upon a Time in Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Chip 'n' Dale Sunflower

Chip, Dale

From Chip 'n' Dale (Disney shorts, from 1943)

Chip and Dale are the mischievous chipmunk brothers who started out pestering Pluto and Donald Duck in Disney's 1940s cartoon shorts. Chip is usually the focused planner, while Dale is the goofier of the two, and fans often tell them apart by their noses. They later starred in their own series, Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers, and are a familiar sight around the parks.

On this gold coin the pair are perched on a sunflower, a garden-friendly design that feels right at home in EPCOT. The reverse shows the EPCOT logo, one of the varied backs in this mixed Disney Traders assortment.

Mulan

Mulan

From Mulan (1998)

Mulan is the heroine of Disney's 1998 film, a young woman in ancient China who disguises herself as a man to take her aging father's place in the Imperial Army. Joined by the small but talkative dragon Mushu and a lucky cricket, she trains alongside the soldiers and ultimately saves the Emperor and her country.

Mulan's coin in the Disney Traders set has a gold finish, and its reverse carries the Disney Princess wordmark. With the China pavilion just around the World Showcase loop, it makes a natural souvenir for guests exploring that part of the park.

Winnie the Pooh

Winnie the Pooh

From Winnie the Pooh (Disney, from 1966)

Winnie the Pooh, the honey-loving bear of the Hundred Acre Wood, came to Disney from A. A. Milne's books, first appearing in the 1966 featurette Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree. Along with Christopher Robin, Piglet, Tigger, Eeyore and friends, Pooh's gentle adventures were gathered into The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh in 1977.

Pooh's coin in the Disney Traders set has a gold finish. Its reverse features a hunny pot with the Winnie the Pooh wordmark, a nod to the bear's favorite snack and frequent source of trouble.
