Peter Quill, who calls himself Star-Lord, was taken from Earth as a boy and raised by space pirates called the Ravagers. In Guardians of the Galaxy he becomes the reluctant leader of a ragtag team of outlaws, carrying his mother's mixtape of 1970s hits wherever he goes. That love of classic songs drives the soundtrack of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.
