World of Disney (West)

Holiday Train

Released ~Oct 26, 2026 Available $10 each, $35 for 4

The West machine at World of Disney carries the rest of the holiday train that starts on the East machine. Mickey drives the locomotive, and the cars behind him carry Donald and Daisy singing carols, Pluto squeezed between two reindeer, and Minnie riding the caboose with a tree and presents. Each coin is gold, framed by colored Christmas lights, and set on a train track in the snow.

All four share the same back as the East machine’s coins: Sleeping Beauty Castle framed by holiday garland and snowflakes. Put the six train coins from both machines in a row and they make one long holiday train.

Engineer Mickey

Mickey Mouse

From Classic Disney characters

Trains are part of Disneyland's story: Walt Disney loved them, built a miniature railroad in his own backyard, and made the Disneyland Railroad one of the park's opening attractions in 1955. Mickey has been an engineer in plenty of cartoons and park parades since.

This gold coin shows Mickey in a Santa hat at the controls of a little red and green holiday locomotive with candy-striped wheels and a big round headlamp. It leads the train that continues across the other coins. Colored Christmas lights circle the design, and the back has Sleeping Beauty Castle in holiday garland and snowflakes with the word “Disneyland.”

Colored Christmas lights circle the design. The back has Sleeping Beauty Castle in holiday garland and snowflakes with the word “Disneyland.”

Pluto & the Reindeer

Pluto, Reindeer

From Classic Disney shorts (from 1930)

Pluto first appeared in 1930 and became Mickey's faithful dog. One of his best-loved cartoons is Pluto's Christmas Tree (1952), where he chases Chip 'n' Dale through Mickey's freshly cut Christmas tree. Like many pets, he often ends up in holiday costumes.

This gold coin puts Pluto in a pair of reindeer antlers, peeking out of a green boxcar between two grinning reindeer, with a wreath around him and a present on the roof. Colored Christmas lights circle the design. The back has Sleeping Beauty Castle in holiday garland and snowflakes with the word “Disneyland.”

Donald & Daisy Caroling

Donald Duck, Daisy Duck

From Classic Disney shorts (Donald 1934, Daisy 1940)

Donald Duck debuted in 1934 and Daisy joined him in 1940. Donald's holiday cartoons usually end with his famous temper getting the better of him, from Toy Tinkers (1949) to Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas, where he and his nephews relive Christmas Day over and over.

On this gold coin Donald and Daisy, both in winter hats, sing Christmas carols side by side in a red train car decorated with a big bow. Colored Christmas lights circle the design. The back has Sleeping Beauty Castle in holiday garland and snowflakes with the word “Disneyland.”
