Mad Hatter
Mad Hatter
From Alice in Wonderland (1951)
The Mad Hatter hosts the never-ending tea party in Alice in Wonderland (1951), celebrating 'unbirthdays' with the March Hare and the sleepy Dormouse. Fast-talking and impossible to pin down, he turns Alice's attempt at polite conversation into chaos, and his song 'The Unbirthday Song' is one of the film's most quoted moments.
This silver medallion features the Mad Hatter with a background and border suited to him. Its back shows the 75th anniversary design common to the whole set, celebrating three quarters of a century since the film's release.
