Cheshire Cat
Cheshire Cat
From Alice in Wonderland (1951)
The Cheshire Cat is Wonderland's most unhelpful guide, a striped, grinning cat who appears and disappears at will in Alice in Wonderland (1951). He sends Alice in confusing directions, sings snatches of 'Jabberwocky' and later stirs up trouble at the Queen's croquet game, often leaving only his smile behind.
This silver coin features the Cheshire Cat with a background and border that suit his character. Like the others in the set, the back carries the Alice in Wonderland 75th anniversary design.
