Stitch, Experiment 626 from Lilo & Stitch (2002), is a small blue alien built for destruction who finds a family with Lilo in Hawaii. His mischief makes him a natural fit for the lion dance, the energetic Chinese New Year performance in which dancers bring a lion costume to life to scare off bad luck.
On this rose-gold coin Stitch sits with his arms raised under a white lion-dance head, in front of a Chinese lattice pattern, with “EPCOT World Showcase China” below. The back is rose gold with the EPCOT wordmark over Spaceship Earth's triangle pattern.
