Pluto New Year

Pluto first appeared in 1930 and soon became Mickey's loyal pet dog, one of the few Disney animals who doesn't talk. This coin celebrates Chinese New Year, when homes and streets are hung with red lanterns and decorations meant to bring good luck.

On this rose-gold coin Pluto trots along in a red outfit, carrying a red good-luck charm, under red lanterns and a blossoming plum tree, inside a border of Chinese patterns and flowers. The back is rose gold with the EPCOT wordmark over Spaceship Earth's triangle pattern.
