Emporium

Tinker Bell, Pals & Pirates, Main Street, U.S.A.

Released ~Sep 18, 2026 Available $10 each, $35 for 4

The Emporium is the only shop in Magic Kingdom with two of the new medallion machines. This one stands toward the back of the store, where an older machine was taken out in mid-September 2026. Its four designs are a mix of Magic Kingdom favorites: Tinker Bell, who flies from Cinderella Castle during the fireworks; Mickey, Minnie and Pluto; a group of Disney princesses with Jasmine’s tiger Rajah; and a ghostly skeleton pirate at a ship’s wheel from Pirates of the Caribbean.

Three of the backs share a Cinderella Castle design with the words “Magic Kingdom,” on gold for Tinker Bell and silver for the Mickey and princess coins. The pirate coin has a dark finish and its own skull-and-crossbones back. The Emporium’s other machine has the Haunted Mansion, Aurora, Winnie the Pooh and Monsters, Inc. set.

Second medallion machine at the Emporium, toward the back of the store. It replaced an older machine there (PressCoins, Sept 18, 2026). Designs read from PressCoins’ photo of the machine’s display; no other outlet has covered this machine yet.

Tinker Bell

Tinker Bell

From Peter Pan (1953)

Tinker Bell first flew into Disney history in Peter Pan in 1953, a pixie with a temper who sprinkles the pixie dust that lets Wendy and her brothers fly to Never Land. She later became a symbol of Disney itself, waving her wand over the castle at the start of Disney films and TV shows, and at Magic Kingdom she has flown from the top of Cinderella Castle to start the fireworks for decades.

On this gold-toned coin Tink sits among big green leaves, surrounded by sparkles and little stars against a soft blue-green glow. It is the only gold coin in the set. The back has Cinderella Castle with the words “Magic Kingdom,” the same design used on the Mickey and princess coins.

Mickey, Minnie & Pluto

Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Pluto

From Classic Disney shorts (Mickey and Minnie 1928, Pluto 1930)

Mickey and Minnie Mouse made their debut together in Steamboat Willie in 1928. Pluto followed in 1930, first as a bloodhound in The Chain Gang and soon after as Mickey's loyal, very expressive pet dog. Pluto is one of the few Disney animals who doesn't talk, so his cartoons rely on pantomime, and he remains one of the 'Sensational Six' at the heart of Mickey & Friends.

This silver-toned coin shows Mickey and Minnie side by side, with Minnie in her red polka-dot bow and dress and Pluto grinning beside them, set in front of a green garden scene inside a patterned border. The back is the shared Cinderella Castle and “Magic Kingdom” design.

Princesses & Companions

Tiana, Rapunzel, Jasmine, Rajah

From The Princess and the Frog (2009), Tangled (2010), Aladdin (1992)

This coin gathers several Disney princesses from different films. Tiana, from The Princess and the Frog (2009), is a New Orleans waitress who dreams of opening her own restaurant. Rapunzel, from Tangled (2010), spends 18 years in a tower before setting out to see the floating lanterns. Jasmine, from Aladdin (1992), is the princess of Agrabah, and her pet tiger Rajah is her protector and closest companion in the palace.

On this silver-toned coin Tiana stands in a leafy green gown, Rapunzel wears her purple dress, and Jasmine sits beside Rajah on the right. A fourth princess appears at the top of the design, but she is hard to make out in the only photo so far. The back is the shared Cinderella Castle and “Magic Kingdom” design.

Front
The coin features five animal companions from four Disney princess movies: 1. Ray – Tiana's firefly friend (The Princess and the Frog). 2. Jaq – Cinderella's mouse friend (Cinderella). 3. Gus (Gus-Gus) – Cinderella's other mouse friend (Cinderella). 4. Pascal – Rapunzel's green chameleon (Tangled). 5. Rajah – Jasmine's pet tiger (Aladdin). Jaq and Gus appear beside Cinderella's face, Ray is floating to Tiana's left, Pascal is on Rapunzel's shoulder, and Rajah is on the far right.

Skeleton Pirate at the Helm

Skeleton pirate

From Pirates of the Caribbean (attraction, 1967)

Pirates of the Caribbean takes guests by boat past a pirate raid on a Caribbean port, but before the battle begins the boats drift past the remains of pirates who weren't so lucky. Skeletons guard their treasure, and the ride's spookiest moments come from these ghostly crews and the warning that 'dead men tell no tales.' Magic Kingdom's version of the attraction opened in 1973.

On this dark, antique-finish coin a skeleton pirate grips a ship's wheel while lightning splits a stormy blue sky, framed by a red and black border. It is the darkest coin in the set. Its back also stands apart from the other three, with a skull and crossbones and pirate motifs instead of the castle. The lettering looks like the Pirates of the Caribbean name, but it is hard to read in the photo.
