Main Street Railroad Station

Haunted Mansion, Main Street, U.S.A.

Released ~Oct 27, 2026 Available $10 each, $35 for 4

A new medallion machine stands on the ground floor of the Main Street Railroad Station, in the passage under the station by the stairs, so it's one of the first machines guests reach in Magic Kingdom. Its four coins are all from the Haunted Mansion: Madame Leota in her crystal ball, the Caretaker and his dog, the Hitchhiking Ghosts at the cemetery gates, and the attraction's logo under a pair of candelabras.

The Caretaker coin glows in the dark; the machine's screen labels it “Glow in the Dark” when you select it. All four share a silver back with “The Haunted Mansion” lettering, the Hatbox Ghost at the top, Madame Leota at the bottom and the Mansion's ghosts around the rim, the same style of back as the Haunted Mansion set at Disney's Pin Traders.

Madame Leota

Madame Leota

From Haunted Mansion (attraction, 1969; Magic Kingdom 1971)

Madame Leota is the medium whose head floats inside a crystal ball in the Haunted Mansion's séance room, chanting “Serpents and spiders, tail of a rat; call in the spirits, wherever they're at” to summon the ghosts. Her face was modeled on Imagineer Leota Toombs, who also appears as the little ghost who tells guests to “hurry baaack” at the end of the ride.

On this coin Leota's face fills a round frame like her crystal ball, with her wild hair swirling around it in pale teal and black. The back is the shared Haunted Mansion design.

The Caretaker & His Dog (Glow in the Dark)

Caretaker, Caretaker's dog

From Haunted Mansion (attraction, 1969; Magic Kingdom 1971)

Just before the graveyard scene, the Haunted Mansion's Caretaker and his skinny dog stand frozen in fright at the cemetery gate, lantern and shovel in hand, as the ghosts come out for their swinging wake. The pair are among the few living characters in the attraction.

This is the set's glow-in-the-dark coin. The Caretaker creeps forward with his lantern raised and his dog at his heels, against a purple night sky with a full moon and yellow-green tombstones. The back is the shared Haunted Mansion design.

Hitchhiking Ghosts at the Gate

Ezra, Phineas, Gus

From Haunted Mansion (attraction, 1969; Magic Kingdom 1971)

Ezra, Phineas and Gus are the Hitchhiking Ghosts who appear in the mirrors at the end of the Haunted Mansion, seeming to squeeze into your Doom Buggy for the trip home. Ezra is tall and skeletal, Phineas wears a top hat and carries a carpetbag, and Gus is the short, bearded one with a ball and chain.

On this coin the three ghosts stand together in front of the Mansion's iron cemetery gates, with bats overhead, all in shades of blue. The back is the shared Haunted Mansion design.

The Haunted Mansion Logo

Haunted Mansion

From Haunted Mansion (attraction, 1969; Magic Kingdom 1971)

The Haunted Mansion opened at Disneyland in 1969 and in Magic Kingdom's Liberty Square in 1971, where its 999 happy haunts have been waiting for a 1,000th ever since. Its gothic lettering and spooky details, from the demon-faced wallpaper to the endless candelabras, are some of the most recognizable art in the parks.

This coin is the set's logo design: “The Haunted Mansion” in glowing blue lettering beneath a grinning demon face and two lit candelabras, on a black background inside a silver border. It's the same design shown on the machine's main screen. The back is the shared Haunted Mansion design.
